Stochastic RSI is an oscillator derived from the Relative Strength Index (RSI). Instead of plotting RSI directly, it measures how the current RSI value compares with RSI’s recent range. The output typically moves on a 0–100 scale, where values near the extremes mean RSI has been near its recent minimum or maximum.

  • Look for transitions from one zone to another.
