What is “USD reaction”?
“USD reaction” refers to the way the US dollar tends to move in response to new information—such as economic releases, policy signals, geopolitical events, or changes in investor risk preferences. The key idea is reaction: markets interpret incoming information and then reprice expectations, which shows up in USD strength or weakness.
