Funding Comparison is the act of putting two or more funding arrangements side by side (for example, different account or financing setups) to estimate how they could perform under a shared set of assumptions. The key idea is to translate arrangement terms—such as how money is provided, how costs are applied, and how outcomes are calculated—into comparable inputs.

Because it is a comparison framework, it is only as useful as the assumptions and the completeness of the terms being compared. If important details are missing or inconsistent, the comparison can look precise while actually being uncertain.
